Asteroid near-miss an ominous sign for the future?
This weekend Russian scientists reported Earth barely escaped an impact with a fast-moving asteroid. Russian Fireball Won’t Be Last Surprise Asteroid Attack
As I noted in my book Mayan Calendar Prophecies: Predictions for 2012-2052, the time period after December 21, 2012 should see an increase in catastrophes such as meteor airburst and impact events like the one that took place in Russia on February 15, 2013. Will the end of the current Mayan calendar coincide with another … Read entire article »

According to media accounts, “The fireball was so bright, it lit up five different states and shook houses with loud explosions.”

The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle states that in England 1014 AD, on the eve of St. Michael’s day (September 28, 1014) “came the great sea-flood, which spread wide over this land, and ran so far up as it never did before, overwhelming many towns, and an innumerable multitude of people.” This is clearly a reference to a tsunami similar to the one that struck Indonesia in December 2004 which killed over 250,000 people.
What could …
